Simplicity is something I've long admired in other people's work without often enough achieving it in my own. I think I'm making progress in these sketchbook drawings but I still struggle to achieve the same economy and liveliness in commissioned work. I'm hoping to take at least a small step in the right direction with the book I'm working on now though.
