Hmm ... quite like the chap in the spotty shirt.

a different Dave (part one in an occasional series)

Every so often I get email meant for other Dave Sheltons (a couple of times I've had stuff meant for David Shenton too, but that's a) another story and b) kind of fine because he's a cartoonist whose work I admire so it's kind of flattering). The Dave Sheltons in question are mostly in the US and, I presume, at least one of them has a very similar gmail address to me. It's mostly amusing, and occasionally faintly irritating, to receive these emails, and I do my best to inform the senders of their error if it looks to be anything important. One of the US Dave Sheltons is a bishop, another is a gun enthusiast (at least I'm assuming they're different people), there's also a US cartoonist Dave Shelton, a wood carver Dave Shelton and, most recently, a man in Salt Lake City, Utah who's apparently considering the purchase of a new Ford Super Duty F-350 DRW.

Anyway, if you'll excuse me, I just have to let Brenda know that I can't make it to the Fall Relief Society Leadership meeting with all the other bishops on October 29th as I can't risk being jet lagged for my appearance at the Story Museum in Oxford the following day.
