Grimm
A couple of friends received copies of the My Penguin edition of Magic Tales by the Brothers Grimm from me for Christmas. These are the covers I created for them. I have one other copy, as yet without anything drawn on the cover, that I'm planning to actually properly read before illustrating.

They were done mostly straight onto the covers except for the bits on brown paper on the top one that were drawn separately and stuck on. I think I did a few small bits of pencilling first for some elements but mostly I went straight in with ink.
