The G2 section of yesterday's Guardian had this picture of Mr David Hockney on its cover



and I couldn't help noticing that these pens



appear to be, unless I'm very much mistaken (and we're talking about pens here so the odds of me being mistaken are unusually slight), the self same Pitt artist pens that I myself have been favouring of late (alongside the old faithful Pilot DRs, obviously).

Rumours that Mr Hockney has been reading this blog in the hope of picking up a few tips are, as yet, unconfirmed.
