Terry-Thomas
Market stall find of the week: Monte Carlo or Bust, with illustrations by the very great Ronald Searle, including so many depictions of Terry-Thomas it's hard to avoid the conclusion that Mr S particularly enjoyed drawing him.

The naked vacuum cleaner wielder was the titular star of my story Heavens to Betsy, Miss Wickerstaff, Have You No Shame? from the comic anthology Sentence (also featuring the likes of Tom Gauld, Nick Abadzis and Gary Northfield among others). Still quite fond of her for all her badly drawnness.
