John Purcell Paper A5(ish) sketchbook number 3, begun 25th July 2001
I think this spread comes from a time when I was vaguely talking with the great Ian Carney about the possibility of working with him, It never came to anything, mostly due to lack of action on my part, but there's probably the odd attempt at a character drawing to come in the next few posts, mixed in among the usual detritus. I think Ian had some idea about a down at heel, semi-retired magician in a seaside town.
Or something.
I have the worst memory.
