banging on about my book again
The very lovely, talented and tall Mr Philip Reeve has written a rather splendid review of A Boy and a Bear in a Boat.
Among other things he calls it "powerfully depressing" (in a good way). I shall be encouraging my publisher to quote that on the jacket of the paperback in due course.

Double size post this week for no especial reason.
Ah, 61 Rugby Rd, Brighton, one of several addresses where I used to spend occasional nights sleeping on the sofa during the MA course. I forget now who lived where but I think Rugby Rd was the hotbed of talent where Mike Chester resided with various other talented folk (possibly including Mique Moriuchi?).
Some workings out for a little silent mini book I did called Signs of Life which turned out rather more of an interesting and instructive diversion than a good piece of work in its own right.

scraps
Working quite hard at the moment.
And continuing to do so until (at least) early August.
I fear that posts of sketchbookyscraps, such as this one, may be par for the course for a while...

sneaky peek
A sneaky peek at episode 7 of Good Dog, Bad Dog: Double Identity (currently being serialised in The Phoenix, to which you all already subscribe, I assume). It's at unreadably small size here so that, hopefully, my editor and publisher won't mind...
